The 7th annual IFMA Tulsa chapter Christmas party was held at Zio’s Special thank you to IFMA Tulsa member Ted Webb with Mazzio’s Corp. We had a great turnout with over 30 attendees. This year?s format for the luncheon was similar to past Christmas parties with everyone leaving with a door prize valued at $25.00.
This year’s event once again featured our “Dirty Santa” drawing. Gift certificates from a variety of Tulsa establishments were purchased as gifts. Once again, restaurant certificates proved to be the most popular. Restaurants such as Los Cabos, Outback Steakhouse and Red Robin were stolen back and forth as quickly as they were acquired. Gift certificates to QuikTrip, Walmart and Home Depot were also popular.
This year’s Program co-chairs, Stephanie Pugh, Mark Cohlmia and Craig Hime were instrumental in acquiring all the door prizes. Thanks to all who assisted the Programs committee with your hard work and “power shopping.”
As always, the highlight of the luncheon was the presentation of a check to The Little Light House consisting of proceeds from our 2006 golf tournament. We presented The Little Light House with another record amount?$6,505.00! Shelly Cryness from The Little Light House was on hand this year to accept the check. Our thanks go out to golf tournament chair, Stephanie Pugh, Tom Seifried, Todd Ray and the entire golf tournament committee and volunteers for an incredible effort. And it goes without saying, thanks to all that sponsored and/or played in our tournament making a donation of this size possible.
