2010 World Workplace: Atlanta

Dr. Paulette Hebert, a Christine Salmon professor at OSU’s College of Human Environmental Sciences department of Design, Housing & Merchandising was named IFMA’s 2010 Educator of the Year at their annual World Workpalce event held October 27-29 in Atlanta, Georgia.

 In addition to being a professor at OSU, Dr. Hebert is the IFMA OSU Student chapter faculty advisor and is also a member of the IFMA Tulsa chapter.

A large contingent from Tulsa and OSU travelled to Atlanta to share in the World Workplace experience and support Dr. Hebert.  In attendance from IFMA Tulsa was Ted Webb, Brian Bennett, Phil Parish, Daylon Eads, Tony Lenox, Ross Phippen, Stephanie Pugh, Lindsay Farr and Tom Seifried.  Attending from IFMA OSU’s Student chapter were Grace Powell, Jessa Feagins, Kim Weaver and Carol Hoipkemier.  Guests included Dr. Hebert’s husband Len and Stephanie Pugh’s significant other, Tim Clark.

Congratulations to Dr. Hebert on receiveing the prestigious Educator of the Year award.  We are all proud of Dr. Hebert and her role in the amazing turnaround of the IFMA OSU Student chapter along with her efforts to further facility management education at Oklahoma State University.
