IFMA After Hours, an event to promote networking between IFMA professional and associate members in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, took place at Tulsa’s newest retro bowling alley, The Dust Bowl. The event also included recruits for IFMA Tulsa’s Emerging Leaders group led by Tropical Plant Design’s Matt McKinney.
IFMA Tulsa’s group took over the six lanes at The Dust Bowl for an evening of food, drink, bowling and networking. The Dust Bowl does not have automatic scorers, so team members had to keep their own score. The chapter provided a number of door prizes for gifts and PCC Cleaning and Restoration provided a certificate for carpet cleaning that went to the bowler with the highest score. The winner of the carpet cleaning was The Facility Group’s Brian Bennett.
Thanks go to chapter president Stephanie Pugh and chapter Programs chair Doug Martin for putting together a great event. Thanks also go to Matt McKinney for hosting the Emerging Leaders. There were seven guests invited as potential IFMA Emerging Leaders and we hope they will join the IFMA Tulsa chapter.
This is the second time that the IFMA After Hours event has been a bowling event. Several years ago the chapter hosted an IFMA After Hours event at Andy B’s. Who knows where we will end up next year. What we do know is it will be a fun event you won’t want to miss.
