A tour of the new headquarters of Hogan Assessments was the highlight of this month's meeting. Before the anticipated tour, meeting attendees were treated to lunch at McNellies and enjoyed time to visit with each other. Once lunch wrapped up, the group made their way to Hogan Assessments to begin the tour of Hogan's new HQ.
More than 25 years ago, Hogan Assessments pioneered personality assessments as a way to successfully predict job performance. Years of consistent growth expanded the Tulsa company’s reach to more than 55 countries. It also created the need for a new, larger headquarters for the global leader.
Selser Schaefer Architects designed the new headquarters to fit within and complement its surroundings:
- Sleek glass creates a translucent façade on the face of the building that reflects Tulsa’s vibrant downtown.
- A “brick sail” façade punctuated with rhythmic windows responds to the Greenwood District.
- The back of the building, clad in metal panels, recognizes the area’s industrial heritage.
The design not only responds to the personality of downtown Tulsa and the Greenwood District, but also captures the dual “work hard, play hard” mindset inherent to the Hogan Assessments culture.
Thank you to Sarah Panell with Selfer Schaefer for making this tour possible.
The wonderful view from the roof of Hogan Assessments.
